Fitness-minded river cruisers have a range of options to stay trim, taut & terrific during your Irrawaddy sojourn. Life onboard and we aim to be as attentive as possible, which includes personalized services to suit each individual, not least your daily fitness needs.

Consider an early morning sunrise Yoga session. Choose between an air-conditioned dvd tutorial, (Sun Deck lounge), or for those already attune to this discipline, the expansive outer deck with natures tropical breeze, is the ideal Yoga platform.

Whether you're a ‘gym junkie’, sporadic exerciser, casual walker or wellness enthusiast, a river cruise can offer just as invigorating a workout as you'd find back home. Motivated by the ever changing scenery, this inspirational and unconventional workout is an unexpected highlight. We have even created a menu of suggested workout options graded from low, medium to high intensity. These include both onboard and onshore activities.

Personalized options include: guided mountain biking / onshore power-walking / ascending mountainous Pagoda steps…with onboard stretch & aerobic exercises.

After breakfast and a little river cruising, typically a shore excursion is the day’s first onshore exercise option. Most travelers enjoy a leisurely stroll, meandering with their shipmates & interpreter. However, for the more energetic, we have a young enthusiastic deck crew, who love nothing more than to don their joggers to escort ‘friendly fitness freaks’ off in the wilderness..!

Back onboard and we have a designated Fitness Area on the Upper Decks with high quality, well maintained Stretch & Aerobic equipment.
