Safety Standards & Features:

• Our fleet of four vessels is built to, and certified by, the national Department of Marine Administration (DMA) standards. www.dma-mm.org
• We have appointed the internationally recognized medical training & support service INTERNATIONAL SOS. www.internationalsos.com During your time onboard, we have 24 hour direct hotline access to a qualified medical doctor, to address any guest or crew illnesses, or to advise the Ships Medical Officer in case of a medical emergency.
• The Ship’s Officers have received international standard health & safety training, as an integral part of their Officer Training qualifications. The entire deck and hospitality crew have been trained by the Myanmar Red Cross in First Response First Aid. Each crew member has received a certificate of achievement and this training is repeated each year, at the beginning of the river cruise season.
• An international specialist marine safety consultant, based in Singapore, inspects and certifies each of our vessels each year. We have an extensive & comprehensive SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM plan which is located in the Wheelhouse of each vessel and maintained by the Fleet Operations Manager.
• In the interest of safety, design quality and professional integrity, we have installed Wheelhouse and Engine room equipment that complies with ISO Marine Standards ( www.iso.org ) This equipment not applies to electronic and mechanical safety items but also to materials, fluids and fittings.
• The main engines, propulsion systems and generators are CCS (Carbon Capture & Storage) approved with certificates issued to validate.
