IVI: Sri Ksetra Lounge

The most spacious, social and versatile entertainment arena onboard, the Sri Ksetra lounge offers the most breathtaking riverbank views from the highest point of the vessel. The ornate ceilings are a magnificent tribute to the skill of local artisans, combining Burmese teak with incredible handcrafted lacquer-ware.

The Sri Ksetra Lounge is a multi-purpose hospitality area, providing facilities and services ranging from sunrise tea & coffee, to a full service cocktail bar at sunset. And in-between are daily briefings, live overseas TV news updates (upon request), complimentary Wi-Fi service, or simply a place to relax unwind and enjoy a book, a board game, or some light-hearted banter.

In the afternoons, a touch of nostalgia prevails as an informal ‘High Tea’ is served, with a delicious array of pastries and the Best of British ‘classic cucumber sandwiches’. And for that extra touch of “eccentric pomp & circumstance” enjoy selected poems by Rudyard Kipling, Somerset Maugham & Oscar Wilde, as read by your Ship’s Manager.

Describe the fixtures & fittings.?

A unique feature & design theme, displayed above the Amarapura Lounge and Mandalay Dining deck-heads (ceilings), is a Yellow paint-finish, inspired as a tribute & embodiment to the daily ritual of applying Thanaka.
